The waitlist for the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program (Section 8), administered by the Jackson Housing Commission (JHC), located in Jackson, MI 49201, opens at 7:30am on Monday September 20, 2021 and will close promptly at 4:00pm on Friday, September 24, 2021. Applications are only available and accepted online at www.jacksonhousing-mi.org. A URL will direct you to the application portal.
Please note that computers are available for applicants to submit their HCV/Section 8 Applications online, at Chalet Terrace, 316 Barberry Drive, Jackson, MI 49203; Shahan Blackstone North, 109 Shahan Drive, Jackson, MI 49202 and the JHC Administrative/Section 8 Office, 301 Steward Avenue, Bldg. C, Jackson, MI 49201, September 20-24, 2021, from 7:30am to 4:00pm. Only one thousand (1,000) completed applications selected through a lottery randomizer will comprise the final HCV/Section 8 Waitlist. Late submissions will not be accepted.
